How we collect, protect, and use the personal data of users who access the PodSync Spain podcast recording platform.

Data Controller
The controller of the data collected on this website is the administration team of PodSync España S.L., with contact details available at[email protected]. We ensure compliance with the European Union's General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and Spain's Organic Law on Data Protection and Guarantee of Digital Rights (LOPDGDD).
The security of our users' personal information is a technical and legal priority for our organization. Data we collect and what we use it for

Categories of processed data
- Identification Account holder's name and email. Used for authentication and access management.
- Recording content Audio and video files generated in sessions. Exclusive property of the user; they are not accessed except upon technical request by the owner.
- Billing data Information necessary to manage subscriptions and payments, processed by payment service providers that meet equivalent standards.
- Technical data IP address and connection metrics necessary to maintain recording quality and prevent service abuse.
PodSync does not collect biometric data or sensitive information without explicit consent. Audio and video files recorded through the platform are the exclusive property of the user: they are not accessed, not analyzed for commercial purposes, and not shared with third parties, except when the account holder themselves requests technical support that requires reviewing the affected material.
03 — Retention
Data retention and security
Personal data will be retained as long as the business relationship is maintained or for the time necessary to comply with applicable legal obligations. Once the relationship with the user ends, the data is blocked for the retention period required by regulations and subsequently deleted securely.
We implement technical security measures such as SSL encryption in all communications and storage on secure servers located in the European Union. Access to data is restricted to authorized personnel, and periodic reviews are conducted to ensure the integrity of the platform's storage and processing infrastructure.

Third parties and international transfers
PodSync does not sell or transfer personal data to third parties for advertising purposes. We use technological service providers necessary for the operation of the platform, such as web hosting and payment processing services, which comply with privacy standards equivalent to those required by European regulations.
In the event of international data transfers outside the European Economic Area, we ensure that there are adequate guarantees for the protection of information in accordance with current regulations. This includes the signing of standard contractual clauses approved by the European Commission or the verification of recognized adequacy frameworks when the provider is established in a territory with an adequate level of protection.
